All of us are called to find and live out our true purpose. We just need to be open to it. And when we are, everything changes…

For much of my life I’ve felt disenfranchised by the teachings of the Christian faith. I always sensed there was some higher power but didn’t have my own lived experience of God.
My father committed to a life of service when he was just 17, despite being adamant he wouldn’t. God had called him in his heart. After that there was simply no other way.
It was the quest to understand my father the man of God that set me on my journey of self-realisation and led me to discover my true purpose. I finally met God on my own terms, and when I did the scriptures I’d always blindly recited suddenly came to life, like cracking the enigma code.
But I also realised that everything we have ever needed to live joyful and peaceful lives has been right in front of us all along.
My hope is that Son of a Preacher Man may help to inspire anyone who is seeking greater meaning in their life to begin asking the right questions. Because
that’s all it takes.
